Playing to sell-out crowds and supporting amazing bands like, MGMT, Miami Horror, Cut/Copy, Justice & Erol Alkan. The boys have returned for a home coming party at New Zealand's most prestigious non-music festie, NZFW.

Both busy, Tommy as a social and new media guru and Connor as a presenter / producer on award winning TVNZ U they still find the time to run Auckland's biggest party, The Departure Club down at 1885 Britomart once a month. No time for heavy dance music, only time for hits

  Beat Mafia

Phillip Haeder & Reuben Rivers-Smith - the Beat Mafia - are known for their mash-up style sets as The Beat Mafia are always keen to hit the decks and get the party jiving. Jacking grooves, infectious hooks and unforgiving bass lines are just a few ways you could describe the Beat Mafia's unique flavour.  Residents of Auckland's popular Be Club as well as holding it down every Saturday night on George Fm for the 10-12 party spot..

  Thomas Sahs

This is a big year for Thomas Sahs.  Coming off of a string of gangster level festival performances and releases on labels such as Alphabet Music, Rebel Hill Recordings and local imprint Huhu, he has now turned his attention to building the Crunkbox music project.  This project combines all of the past and present influences that Thomas has experienced through his international travel and production experiences.  The result is a mashed up, distorted funk that transcends traditional shapes and spaces.  Keep an eye out for upcoming releases under the Crunkbox moniker throughout the rest of the year.

Check out www.crunkbox.co.nz for updates.

Mark Emerson
Mark Emerson is a household name in the New Zealand electronic music industry. With his addictive mix of electro & techno he is in high demand, both locally and off shore.  2010 saw Mark voted as #1 Progressive DJ in NZ at the Annual Nite:Life Awards, proving he has made his mark on New Zealand’s clubbing scene. Mark’s unique mix of beats can be heard on New Zealand’s premier electronic music station GeorgeFM, where he hosts his weekly radio show Hi Fi.

  Tom McGuinness

Known for his eclectic musical style and persuasive persona, Tom McGuinness is one of Auckland's leading underground dancefloor experts. His underground and forward thinking sets have made him the go to guy for those twisted early mornings in dark K-Road clubs.

Not afraid to buck trends and mix up the freshest in alternative electronica around, Tom represents the leftfield, the underground.

His Tuesday night slot on GeorgeFM with long time DJ partner Jamie White is a genre defying 2 hours of music, conversation and discussion. Or as Tom and Jamie put it, 'banter'.

Dougal Swift

Dougal's been DJing since first getting hooked by the house scene way back in 1989.  Some of those early sounds are re-emerging in Dougal’s sound today, with 80s synth hooks and samples mirroring the 80s influences in fashion trends.  Dougal’s always been passionate about the symbiotic relationship fashion shares with music and his deconstructed disco and tech infused house sound is a regular feature at fashion-focused clubs and parties like Spy, Trench and Highlife.  Nu-disco for a new season.

  Benn Morrison
Benn's been addicted to music since he first laid his little ears on his Dad's Bob Marley record at the prime age of 6 years old. Since that nostalgic moment his musical taste has changed and evolved to bloom into a sound blending a variety of funk, soul, hip-hop and reggae tunes, from the down-beat to the up-tempo.

Benn’s selections are silky smooth with a careful consideration to the crowd, vibe and nature of an event. Expect nothing less than tasty beats and spicy rhythms suited to any party occasion. Get ready to shake your hip bones and stomp your good-foot every time Benn jumps in the mix

  Harry Halpin

After spending many years heckling Auckland’s djs with weak banter and strobe cds, Harry Halpin decided to join their ranks after the fortuitous purchase of cdj 1000s by a large curly headed friend of his with little application for the art of mixing. Fastforward down the track and his sound has matured into a much deeper house oriented vibe that has seen him gain regular appearances at Ink, Coherent, the Studio and Be Bar supporting a number of international and local artists. Always looking to keep his sound fresh and in line with global music trends, Harry will never stray far from his roots offering the occasional live performance with close friend and scene icon, MC jelly bean.
